Welcome!

The Witching Hour!

How would you celebrate Harry Potter day? This was a conundrum for our social media team last week.

After much discussion the task fell to Tracey, Ray and myself who didn’t mind sacrificing our dignity in a variety of hats and waving some magical wands about!

Please see the evidence below.

I hasten to add this didn’t start out as amusing as it became!

Suffice it to say that our antics managed to surprise a few customers as they walked through the door.

Their exclamations of ” What have a we walked into!” could be heard as they moved to the outer edges of the room.

It’s totally understandable really…how often do you see three women in mushroom infested hats waving wands about in Ruthin?

I can tell you…

…not often.

We started off sedately with a walk in the Witch Wood.

There was no hubble-bubbling, toil or troubling happening. This was definitely light hearted.

As you can imagine with candles falling out of the hats and wands placed so they appeared to be picking noses (which they weren’t) …and hillarity soon ensued.

Which is a good thing in this case, as with the fits of giggles came the unspoken permission to play.

So there were wand fights…

…obviously!

A witch inspired conga line which of course meant a lot of wand waving.

Even the obligatory Lavinia’s Witches pose.

Charlie’s Angels may have done this first…

…with more success!

Oh, but how we laughed!

There was even some live action recorded…which has been popped into a video below for your entertainment and as a record for us of a funny afternoon. As with all things, it may have been funniest in the moment. You know the old saying – you had to be there!

For us though, there is only one question left to ask…

When shall we three meet again..?! Click the video to see more!
