Embroidered and hand painted Mountain hare in Winter brooch

This hare brooch is a Winter version of the mountain hare, also known as the Blue Hare. The mountain hare is well known for turning from brown in the Summer to White in the Winter. It is smaller than the brown hare and has shorter ears.

Carefully crafted from faux suede, faux fur and thread, this brooch is layered to create a three-dimensional effect that is then hand painted to achieve exquisite detail.

The brooch makes an ideal gift and comes packaged in a gift box measuring 9cm by 9cm. Due to the hand-crafted nature some slight variations may occur.
