As we reach the midway point of the February Creative Challenge – "Humble Abode", Tracey brings us a magical fairy treehouse project, combining the Small Dwellings stamps with the Tree Branch to create an enchanting woodland retreat.
Working on Hot-Pressed Watercolour Card, she crafts a beautifully dappled background, starting with a base coat of Elements Ink on a Gel Plate, then adding delicate splatters of diluted powdered Brusho or Dinkles inks for a soft, textured effect.
To bring the scene to life, Tracey layers a selection of foliage and blossom stamps, adding depth and movement. A hanging fairy charm adds a whimsical finishing touch, while a sprinkle of StarBrights Eco Glitter in Mermaid Blue gives the design its all-important magical sparkle.
