Hi everyone, Jo here again. I hope today is treating you well, and that you’re ready for another crafty catch up.
Today we’re working on the May page of our Lavinia Calendar, and it really is a hoot. I’ll be stamping Bijou, our fabulous owl, and sitting him on the Vine Branch, surrounded by plenty of lovely foliage. Two magnificent magpies will be flying in to join the scene too.
Next, we’ll blend Elements inks to create an atmospheric background, then add a little light stencil work for extra depth and interest. To finish, we’ll add some water splatters and a few crisp highlights with a white Posca pen.
So, relax, take a deep breath, and let’s get creative.
