In today’s demonstration, Tracey brings an enchanting woodland scene to life, creating a peaceful leafy haven for the delightful fairy, Tia.
The background begins with Elements Ink, softly blended directly onto the card using a stencil brush. A glowing yellow centre creates the illusion of warm sunlight filtering through the trees, while rich green tones frame the scene, providing the perfect backdrop for layers of leafy and floral stamping. A light splatter of water applied with a fan brush creates a beautiful mottled effect, adding even more depth and a natural woodland atmosphere.
Taking pride of place, Tia sits gracefully upon a leafy branch within a tranquil clearing, surrounded by clusters of delicate floral mini stamps in a variety of Versafine Clair colours. To introduce extra depth and texture, Tracey stamps additional foliage into the corners with Versamark watermark ink before heat embossing with Wow! Opaque Vanilla White embossing powder, creating a wonderfully soft and subtle finish.
To complete the design, touches of Wow! Fab Foil and shimmering Golden Rod Stickles Glitter add just the right amount of magical sparkle.
