Welcome!

The Grand Opening!

The time arrived for the ribbon to be cut, the doors to open and to show everyone the wonders inside The Dreamatorium.

I remember being outside The Dreamatorium and seeing smiling faces full of joy and anticipation… there were even a couple of fairies too!

As the Grandfairy clock inside The Dreamatorium chimed nine o’clock, Kevin and Tracey stood outside this magnificent building. Their relationship with the building having grown to an affectionate understanding that they were merely caretakers for the creative journey about to begin. Tracey cut the red ribbon and declared the new premises open, leading the way to welcome our excited guests inside.

To be honest it was quite an emotional day, being part of a team that helped Tracey make her dream a reality. So much time had been invested by so many, to make sure that The Dreamatorium was as magical as Tracey’s vision. The support we had from the local community was overwhelming.

Seeing peoples faces light up as they came through the doors was a joy to behold and reassured us that everyone could see the magic too.

Lots of people came from far and wide to be part of the day and visit the beautiful new building. We had visitors from New Zealand, Holland, Saudi Arabia and Canada, to name a few.

The day continued with a sea of smiles and the sounds of laughter as this lovely community of crafters shared their passion for stamping and cardmaking with each other.

Kevin and Tracey bought Plas Coch and have beautifully renovated the building. It’s full of fantasy, wondrously timeless and a place you don’t want to leave.

Tracey had a vision of how The Dreamatorium would be. It was her wish to be able to share a magical space and her love of crafting with like-minded people.

Well…now this dream has come true.

Cheers Tracey, well done.

My wish is that everyone, whether they visit or work at The Dreamatorium including Kevin, Tracey and Jamie, get to enjoy this beautiful and amazing building for many years to come.

As we close the doors on Friday the 4th April 2025, a day now synonymous with The Grand Opening of The Dreamatorium, we pause the Blog of the Dreamatorium Pages.

It has been quite an emotional experience as an onlooker, reporting back to you and sharing each stage of the evolution of Plas Coch/The Dreamatorium as it happens.

There will always be more to learn about this beautiful building as The Dreamatorium evolves. So keep your ears to the ground and your eyes wide open for more updates! As I’m sure there will be a few…

In the meantime join me for a new blog “Behind the Magic at Lavinia Stamps with Emma-Jo”. This will be full of wonderful crafting tips and fabulous techniques, dates for your diary, what’s on in our glorious town and much, much more!

See you there!
