Overview: We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our stock control and warehouse operations team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, experience with warehouse management systems, and a solid understanding of supply chain logistics. The successful applicant will be jointly responsible for maintaining stock levels, analysing data, and implementing improvements to optimise stock control processes. Salary is negotiable depending on experience. Responsibilities: • Monitor and manage stock levels using ERPNext. • Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies through root cause analysis. • Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely shipping & receiving, including materials handling and heavy lifting where necessary. • Implement category management strategies to optimise stock assortment and merchandising. • Analyse data mining outputs to identify opportunities for process improvement within inventory workflows. • Utilise data visualisation techniques for clear reporting on stock movements and performance metrics. • Manage stock replenishment cycles, stocking procedures, and materials handling activities. • Support shipping & receiving operations, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with safety standards. Requirements: • Proven experience in warehouse management, retail management, or supply chain roles with a focus on stock control. • Strong analysis skills with proficiency in Excel or SQL. • Familiarity with ERP systems, primarily ERPNext. • Knowledge of logistics, 3PL operations, shipping & receiving procedures. • Experience with category management, process improvement initiatives, and root cause analysis. • Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle materials handling tasks including heavy lifting. • Good understanding of merchandising principles and retail environment dynamics.
