Christmas Wreath Workshop By Firth Flock Flowers

£55 - 4th December 2026 - 2pm to 4pm.

Join us for a festive evening of Christmas wreath-making, led by flower farmer and florist Ellen Firth of Firth Flock Flowers.

In our workshop space, you’ll learn to create a Christmas wreath using fresh, locally sourced foliage and a curated selection of dried flowers, grasses, seed pods and festive textures, many grown and dried on Ellen’s Ruthin flower farm, just a few miles away. Ellen will talk you through her no-dig growing methods, how she dries and stores flowers on the farm, and the simple techniques behind a balanced, long-lasting wreath.

Your wreath is built on a sustainably sourced twisted willow base. Once the season is over, you can refresh and reuse it year after year.

You’ll enjoy:

  • Demonstrations and one-to-one support from Ellen
  • Your own sustainably sourced twisted willow wreath base to take home
  • Fresh seasonal foliage and a generous selection of dried flowers, grasses and seed pods
  • Late-night browsing through our magical shop

This is a cosy, hands-on evening to slow down, get into the festive spirit and make a wreath for your door that’s truly your own.

Please note bookings for this session are made through Firth Flock Flowers via the button below.

Description

Ellen will share how she grows flowers in harmony with nature — from preserving soil microbiomes through no‑dig methods to mulching with wool from her Welsh Black Mountain sheep, reducing plastic waste, and designing with reusable materials like chicken wire instead of floral foam.
