The Magic of Crafting : For the Love of Dinkles, Fairy Nook Homes

Sarah Anderson loves to sprinkle Dinkles, our super concentrated powdered inks which she activates with water.

Join her in this workshop where you will use Dinkles alongside stamping and mixed media to not only create a colourful Fairy Nook Home but also to colour washi sheets. This sticky backed, thin paper is not only a wonderful way of adding colour to notebooks or journals but can also be used to create unique cards/tags.

1 x pack of Fairy Nook Homes, Class Checklist, Light Refreshments, 10% discount for in store use on Lavinia Branded Products on the day of the workshop.

What To Bring With You

Please find below a list of what Sarah will be using at the workshop:

Some Dinkles, one pot or a few. We will be sprinkling these but if you’d also like to paint with them bring a few.

Versafine Nocturne

A couple of coloured Versafine  inkpads – pick your favourite (to stamp florals and/or grasses, toadstools)

Favourite floral stamps

A text stamp for the background

Fairy Nook House Accessories stamp set

A small paintbrush

Scissors

Mondeluz pencils for colouring (if not using Dinkles or would like to use both)

Gold to splash with eg posca, drop of shimmer of Gansai Tambi Starry Colors

A favourite stencil

Image and colour wise this is a very flexible workshop so bring your favourites and Sarah will share ideas on how to use them with the Fairy Nook Homes.

 

 

For items that are not included and that you may not already have you will be able to use the shop throughout the day.

You can bring lunch with you or take advantage of the wide range of local cafes, bakeries and restaurants nearby. Whilst we offer light refreshments (tea, coffee, biscuits etc) we cannot guarantee that our offerings are suitable for all dietary requirements, if you have any intolerances, you are welcome to bring your own.

These terms and conditions govern the booking and attendance of workshops hosted by Lavinia Stamps or third-party partners. By booking a workshop, you agree to abide by these terms.

  1. Booking and Payment
    1. All workshop bookings must be made through Lavinia Stamps’ official website or authorized representatives.
    2. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place.
    3. Bookings are non-transferable without prior written consent from Lavinia Stamps.
  1. Cancellations and Refunds
    1. If you need to cancel your booking, a full refund will only be available for cancellations made at least 14 days prior to the event.
    2. If Lavinia Stamps or the third-party host needs to cancel or reschedule the workshop, you will be offered a full refund.
    3. Lavinia Stamps is not responsible for any additional costs incurred due to cancellation, such as travel or accommodation expenses.
  1. Workshop Participation
    1. Participants are expected to arrive on time and bring any required materials as specified in the workshop description.
    2. If a participant arrives late, instructors may be unable to repeat missed content. No refunds or partial refunds will be given for late arrival or early departure.
    3. Workshops are designed for personal learning and enjoyment. Any commercial use of workshop materials or techniques must be with the written permission of Lavinia Stamps.
  1. Liability and Safety
    1. Lavinia Stamps and its third-party hosts will take reasonable steps to ensure a safe environment; however, participants attend at their own risk.
    2. Lavinia Stamps is not liable for any injuries, loss, or damage to personal belongings during the workshop.
    3. Participants must follow any health and safety guidelines provided by the instructor or venue staff.
  1. Intellectual Property
    1. All workshop content, including designs, techniques, and materials, remain the intellectual property of Lavinia Stamps.
    2. Participants may not reproduce, distribute, or use workshop materials for commercial purposes without prior permission.
  1. Photography and Media
    1. Lavinia Stamps may take photographs or recordings during workshops for promotional purposes. By attending, you consent to the use of such media.
    2. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please inform a staff member before the workshop begins.
  1. Third-Party Hosted Workshops
    1. Some workshops may be hosted by third-party providers. While Lavinia Stamps facilitates bookings, responsibility for venue arrangements and workshop delivery lies with the host.
    2. Any additional terms or policies set by third-party hosts must also be adhered to.
