In today’s tutorial, Tracey creates a beautiful and mystical card featuring the wonderfully unique Dragon Pods — a pair of thistle-like stamps that work perfectly together, with their two sizes adding natural depth and perspective to any scene.
For the background, Tracey applies Elements Ink to a stencil, then uses a Brayer to transfer the inked pattern onto a Gel Press. A gentle splatter of diluted Brusho ink with a fan brush adds extra texture and interest, before she takes a ‘print’ onto a DL-sized Watercolour Card. (Dinkles Ink works equally well here)
The softly textured surface of the card gives the final piece a lovely vintage feel, and as always, a touch of Stickles Glitter provides that essential magical sparkle.
