1. Cut a 21 x 21 cm square of watercolor paper. Draw diagonal lines connecting the corners to locate the center point.

2. Cut out a circle with a diameter of 15 cm.

3. Stamp the corners using a corner stamp; for this project, I used stamp LAV885.

4. Position the mushroom stamp (LAV671) and cover it with a scrap of paper so you can stamp the mannequin over it. Ensure the mannequin's torso is positioned over the center of the mushroom cap. Place the cap from the small "Elfin Caps" mushroom on top of the mannequin's knob. (lav876)

5. Mask the mushroom, its stem, and its cap.

6. Place the stencil of your cut-out circle over your stamped cardstock. Color it to your liking; I used purple, yellow, and orange Distress Oxide inks.

7. Stamp Dana (lav863), one of the Fledglings (lav965), Hattie (lav914), and the Orchard Grass (lav672).

8. Blow soap bubbles onto your artwork to create a mysterious background. (If you find this difficult... I also created two similar pieces in different colors without using the bubble technique.)

9. Carefully remove the mask from your project and color in the wild leaf corners however you like.

10. Add highlights to your project and give the grass (among other things) some sparkle. I used Stickles Mercury Glass.
