Hi everyone, Jo here again — thanks so much for popping in.
Today we’re creating a charming design that works beautifully as a masculine card. For the background, we’ll blend Elements Inks in Sahara, Truffle, and Midnight Blue. The mix of browns and yellows gives a lovely autumnal feel, though you could easily adapt the palette for any season.
For the stamping, we’ll use Versafine Clair inks in Nocturne and Sand Dune, featuring our wily fox, Rufus, surrounded by Bulrushes and the Oak Leaf Branch. A few flicks of water from a fan brush add a soft, dappled effect to the water-reactive background.
Finally, we’ll bring it all together with highlights and shadows using pastel pencils, and I just love how the subtle sentiment stamping frames Rufus at the centre of the design. So grab a brew, get comfy, and let’s have some crafty fun.
