Creative Producer
I qualified in Fine Art (Drama) and Primary Education and as such spent some time teaching in Primary and Secondary Schools, specifically Special Needs.
Art wise, my first love was costumes which evolved into making large 3D Textile Sculptures. I studied a Masters in Illustration for Children and have illustrated 3 books. Now, every summer, I make bizarre headdresses for a local Fairy Festival.
Suffice it to say my art spanned a few areas before I discovered stamping and shrink plastic!…Now I’m hooked! My aim is to try and bring all that experience together and make Lavinia Art as accessible as possible….and FUN!
My home is a little hobbit house nestled in a hill in the wilds of North Wales, with a narrow-gauge railway in the garden and plenty of wildlife.
