The Floral Arch – Ageeth Holster

Step by Step by Ageeth Holster

Hello everyone 🧚‍♂️

It is Ageeth here with my Step-by-Step tutorial called The Floral Arch. It’s full of flowers perfect for a flower festival. I hope you like it.

Step 1.

Take one piece of 6” x 6” Multifarious card and cut it to 5.4” x 5.4 “. Now add from the Sticker Stencil 5 set add the circle or full moon. With Lavinia stencil brush series 9 blend the inside first with Elements Pink Elephant. Next to the edges blend some Lavinia Elements Merlot using a series 3 Lavinia stencil brush.

Step 2.

Now remove the sticker stencil and protect the pink circle we have made by covering with the circle part of the sticker stencil. With that in place blend the outside using Lavinia stencil brush series 9 and Elements Bermuda. Remove the sticker stencil.

Step 3.

Stamp LAV 813 the smallest Forest Flower, LAV388 the smallest Glow Flower and LAV653 stamp two of the flowers of the Lilium in Versafine Clair Nocturne. Next stamp Swirl set LAV706 using the smallest one and Leaf Spray stamp LAV741 also stamping the smallest one in Versafine Clair Shady Lane. See the picture for placement.

Step 4.

Now stamp the small branch with the dots from Foliage Stamp Set LAV679 in Lavinia Elements Pink Elephant LAV679. See the picture for where to stamp them, they are great for adding detail in between the larger flowers.

Step 5.

Next in second generation stamping, stamp the Arch of Angels LAV874 in Versafine Nocturne. On the right-hand side of the outside of the pink circle stamp Mini leaf 5 LAV512 in Versafine Clair Shady Lane.

Step 6.

Using Mondeluz watercolour pencils colour the flowers. I used a dark blue and pink. Next bleach the inside of the arch by using just water on a watercolour brush, dabbing off the water with a piece of paper towel. Keep repeating the process until you have achieved the effect.

Step 7.

Colour the Arch of Angels with Gioconda soft pastel pencils. I used a pale grey and white.

Step 8.

Add dots on the flowers with the sparkling Posca pens, pink and light blue. For the pink add the dots to the flowers between the mini leaves with Posca pens light pink and apple green. To make the leaf a bit darker use the Giaconda pastel pencils and stamp more leaves with Versafine Clair Spruce.

Step 9.

Cut the card a bit to create a clean, crisp border around the outside edge.

Step 10.

As a finishing touch stamp the biggest Silkweed Hops LAV975 in Versafine Shady Lane in the Arch. Now layer the card with dark green and white paper and your card is complete.

I hope you enjoyed this card tutorial. I look forward to seeing your Floral Arches. Have fun! Ageeth.
