In today’s tutorial, Tracey brings one of our timeless favourites, Valko the Wolf, to life on a beautifully crafted card.
Using her exclusive Lavinia Stamps Elements Premium Dye Ink Pads and the Gel Press, she creates a stunning, Brusho-dappled background as the perfect setting for this majestic design.
Tracey starts by applying a thin layer of Elements Graphite ink with the Brayer Soft Rubber Roller. She then flicks three shades of diluted Brusho ink over the surface with a fan brush to add texture and interest. Don’t worry if you have Lavinia’s own Dinkles powdered inks—they work just as beautifully as Brushos for this technique.
To finish, Tracey adds a stippled surround using one of the Lavinia stencils and a touch of Eco Glitter for that magical sparkle.
