Hi everyone, Jo here. Thanks so much for popping in again, I hope your day is going well.
Today we’re going to play with one of the Enchanted Forest Dreamscape papers and combine two really useful techniques, paper piecing and gutting, don’t worry, it isn’t painful! I’ll be making a topper featuring our gorgeous new bear, Ashryn, and using the paper to create a ready-made frame.
We’ll add a colourful Elements ink background, then stamp in some foliage to build the scene. After that it’s all about the finishing touches, a little pastel pencil shading, some highlights with a Posca pen, and a few fine details with a black fineliner.
And don’t throw those offcuts away, they’re perfect for smaller projects and little toppers.
