Today, Tracey revisits her Acrylic and Mica-infused Sprays to create a vibrant, colourful background for this foliage-themed card.
She begins by spraying the Sun Yellow Acrylic and the Indian Sunset Mica-infused spray directly onto Hot-Pressed Watercolour Card, followed by a spritz of water to help blend the colours. The result is a lovely warm sunset effect. Tracey then adds a burst of Kingfisher Mica Mist at the base of the card, representing the ground.
For the foliage, Tracey selects the Mini Maple leaf, along with a couple of other foliage stamps, which she arranges along the delicate branches created using the Gyp stamp.
Some of the branches are stamped in Versamark watermark ink, which is then sprinkled with Wow! Opaque Vanilla White embossing powder. This technique makes the branches stand out, adding depth and dimension to the design.
