She begins by layering several shades of acrylic paint onto the Gel Press, blending them with a brayer to create a soft, painterly base. Before the paint dries, she adds strands of crafting thread and delicate pieces of lace, then pulls a print directly onto Multifarious Card. The result? A wonderfully tactile background with natural diagonal flow and rich texture.
Into this dreamy setting, Emma-Jo stamps her regal swans, gracefully gliding through the textured landscape. Final details are added with watercolour pencils, Kuretake Clean Colour Pens, and Posca Pens, enhancing the scene with depth and definition.
And of course, no Emma-Jo creation would be complete without a touch of sparkle — enter the Fab Foils, adding a generous splash of bling to bring the whole piece to life.
