In this tutorial, Tracey makes a timely return to our Steampunk collection, with the vintage-style clock stamp, Tick, taking centre stage. It’s framed by an assortment of mini mushroom and foliage stamps for added charm and detail.
For the stamping, Tracey uses four shades of Versafine ink — Nocturn, Twilight, Golden Meadow, and Glamorous — to add variety and depth. She then demonstrates a useful masking technique, protecting the clock face while blending Elements inks in Greensleeves, Mermaid, and Graphite with a stencil brush to create a rich, textured background.
Finally, she adds colour to the clock face and enhances the design with fine detailing using Kuretake Watercolour Pens, bringing the whole piece to life.
