The magic of Christmas by Elaine Langford-Pugh

Hello, Elaine here, Guest DT for December.

Here with a Picture tutorial for all you wonderful crafters 🧚‍♂️🧚‍♀️

1. Using the circle Sticker Stencil from Sticker Stencil Set 5, apply some Elements Ink Sahara with a Stencil Brush series 9, making the colour darker the bottom than at the top and right-hand side of the circle.
2. Next blend some Elements Ink Mulberry using a Stencil Brush series 3 around the inside of the circle, concentrating on the bottom for depth.
3. Remove the Sticker Stencil to see the finished circle.
4. Using Versafine Clair Pinecone stamp part way around the circle using the Fairy Catkins stamp.
5. Again using Versafine Clair Pinecone stamp on the right an extra piece of the Fairy Catkin stamp, the Fairy Dust Silhouette stamp and one of the Small Pine Trees on the left.
6. Using a hill mask cut from copy paper, create two hills using Truffle Elements Ink and a Stencil Brush series 3. Create some shadows beneath the Fairy Dust Silhouette stamp and the Small Pine Tree.
7. Now stamp the Mini Pixie houses and Fairy Ladders in Versafine Clair Pinecone. Using Lavinia Stencil Brush series 3 and Truffle Elements ink create some shadows beneath them.
8. Add one of the Fairy Foragers and the other three Mini Pine Trees using Versafine Clair Pinecone. Create a spotlight using a circle mask and a No 9 Stencil Brush with Elements Sahara. Create the hills beneath the circle with Elements ink Truffles and a cut piece of copy paper.
9. Use a Stencil brush series 9 with Elements Sahara around the edge of the card. Stamp in second generation the Winter Magic stamp using Versafine Clair Pinecone. Extend the shading beneath the Fairy Dust Silhouette stamp using Elements ink Truffle.
10. Edge the card using Elements ink Truffle.
11. Colour the fairy catkins using Gelly Roll Stardust Pens Gold and Copper.
12. Colour the catkins and fairy wings using Kuretake Real Clean Colour Real Brush Pens orange and yellow and finish with a Wink of Stella to the wings. Colour the hair using a Bronze Metallic Signo pen.
13. Add some yellow Posca Pen to the stardust. Use a white Signo gel pen for highlights and add A Wink of Stella to the stardust. Stamp the Fir Cone Branch stamp around the top and sides with Versafine Clair Pinecone. Use a white pastel pencil to highlight the fairies, houses and trees.
14. To complete your card place your completed design on an 8x8 inch card base. Add a 7.3 x 7.3-inch copper metallic matt edge. Alternatively, you could use Cosmic Shimmer Metallic Gilding Polish Copper Shine to provide that copper edge.

15. The finished card! I hope you have enjoyed the process of making this card.

Have fun! Big hugs, Elaine xx
